The machine is for blast cleaning of outer diameter of Stainless Steel Pipes of various sizes (diameters and lengths). A brief write-up on working principle of the subject machine is given below:

The machine consists of a blasting cabinet, diabolo roller conveyors (shape and angle setting of the diabolo type conveyor is such that it makes the pipes move linearly and rotating)  at loading and unloading side, drive units for conveyors, blast generator/reclaimer, dust collector and media recovery unit. Blasting cabinet is equipped with set of  blasting guns / nozzles, which are controlled by X-Y reciprocation manipulators, PLC and HMI system and control system.

The pipe to be blast cleaned  is placed on Diabolo Conveyor, which moves forward as well as rotates and reaches inside the blast chamber. There inside the blast chamber, there are two independent blasting gun stations. The pipe is exposed to the Blast Stream from set of  nozzles – Separate set of nozzles are provided on each station to do the blasting.

The spent blast media falls down below the cabinet and is taken to the reclaimer from the top, where heavier / reusable particles get separated and go down to the Pressure Pot / Blast Generator and then taken again to Blasting guns / Nozzles. Here at the reclaimer stage the lighter/ fine particles get sucked into the Dust Collector. The blasting machine is of continuous type and timer operated to provide continuous working of media flow from the machine . The dust created during blast cleaning is sucked by the exhaust fan mounted on pleated bag type dust collector, thus, keeping environment clean. The operator is to simply load and unload the pipes on Diabolo conveyor.

Two axis Reciprocation Systems of 2 sets is provided for Blast Cleaning of two pipes on two stations i.e on two Diabolos.

The Dust Collector with high filtration efficiency consisting of Pleated Bags has been provided to control dust pollution.

Machine has one conveyor at inlet and 2nd at outlet. A large range of Pipes ( small to big ) can be conveyed.

Linearly moving and rotating pipes enter the blast cabinet and come out at exit side after these have been cleaned by blasting.
